The
Elk Hill-Northside
Group Home serves a maximum of eight court and social services referred
adolescents ages 15 and older who are no longer at high risk for
violence, severe aggression, sexual offense and elopement, as well
as serving as a step down from the residential program. Set in a
supportive community environment, daily routines are structured
around independent living and transitional issues. In July
2008, Elk Hill-Northside became an approved Medicaid provider.
Our
Elk Hill-Charlottesville Group Home opened in October
of 2003 and serves up to eight young men from throughout Virginia.
Historically, between 25 and 30 percent of the young men in our
residential program have been from the Charlottesville area making
it the perfect location for a group home. These young men work within
the community while they attend school and work toward independence.
In July 2009, Elk Hill-Charlottesville became an approved
Medicaid provider.
Elk
Hill-Spring Garden opened in November of 2007 and
serves up to eight young women, ages 14-18. The Spring Garden
staff will work with these young women and their families to help
them develop or rediscover a values system with a foundation of
respect, responsibility, hard work, and education. In July
2008, Elk Hill-Spring Garden became an approved Medicaid provider.
All of
the young men and women in our group home programs have 24-hour
supervision and counseling available to them.
